Our partner is a fast-growing technological company developping, manufacturing and selling automated equipment and devices for the pharmaceutical industry.

The Automation Engineer is responsible for the software development, testing, commissioning, evolution and maintenance of the automated equipment’s.

• Write Software Design Specification (SDS, SMS) to meet the FDS requirements.
• Write IO Lists and Flowcharts to meet the FDS requirements.
• Robot, PLC and HMI Software development and programming according to the specifications.
• Commissioning of the equipment (IO tests, configuration, sensors adjustments).
• Perform the functional tests prior to the validation to ensure reliable operation of the equipment.
• Participate in the site commissioning when an automation support is required.
• Perform automation troubleshooting and fixing locally or remotely.
• Analyze, develop, implement and document software changes
• Write Software Change control documents.
  

Support to

• During the project execution, participate in the project meetings.
• Support the Validation Engineer during IQ/OQ to execute the tests related to automation.
• Support the After-Sales Manager to investigate issues related to automation.

• Master’s Degree in electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, software or automation engineering
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
• Ability to communicate well with other members of the development team
• Ability to communicate with English speaking clients, verbally and in writing
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform complex system tests
• Ability to write specifications in correct English language
  

Experience

• At least two years of experience in machine and/or robotic automation is required
• Added values (not mandatory):
• Experienced with Rockwell Automation Systems and/or B&R Sytems
• Knowledge of robotic systems (Staübli or others)
