Job description

As a Business Developer BENELUX you will report directly to the Head of Sales DAPESCO and be in charge of the commercial development of DAPESCO within the BENELUX. You will take ownership of the full sales cycle from lead generation to order closing for direct sales industrial large customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Consultative sales professional with emotional selling skills to close deals ;
  • Generation of new leads from various sources (industrial database, personal network, industry events, LinkedIn…) ;
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle and long negotiations taking up 6-9 months ;
  • Identify customer needs and define the value proposition to be delivered ;
  • Drive the complete tendering cycle including data collection, site assessments, and offer preparation with the support of the operations team ;
  • Contribute to the commercial strategy in order to align to customer expectations (offer model, pricing, marketing material…) ;
  • Participate in marketing and networking activities (exhibitions, industrial committees…) ;
  • Travel can be up to 35% of the time.

Required Qualifications:

- Interest in the energy and environment sector ;

- Minimum 3 years experience in B2B software sales, in an Account Management/Executive position including SDR/Hunter experience (outbound and inbound) ;

- Hunter mindset used to organise its own leadgen prospection, with Sales automation tools ;

- Strong expertise in qualifying needs and opportunities ;

- Ability to interact with C-level stakeholders ;

- Ability to proactively build and manage a pipeline (and keep it up to date in the CRM), and a consistent annual sales plan (updated quarterly) ;

- Have closed enterprise deals in complex technical environments (references required).
