F&HC Global Product Stewardship

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about environmental science and stewardship and is seeking a challenging assignment in a dynamic environment. Candidates should bring a high attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Key responsibility is to provide environmental stewardship support to current and upstream business for F&HC projects in one or more categories, on a regional and global basis as required. Primary owner and accountable for category project knowledge including key safety, sustainability issues, claims and regulatory constraints, as well as practices and environmental factors in regions where product is to be distributed or sold. Working knowledge of environmental risk assessment preferred, but not required. Partner with Sector GPS, R&D, QA, ER and other key functions and leverage expertise to enable timely, scientifically found safety guidance and resolution of safety issues as they arise. Responsible for addressing consumer questions on the safety of the ingredients or products, putting together easy-to-understand information on the safety of P&G products or ingredients for external sharing.


Requires BS or MS in life sciences, biology, chemistry or closely related field, or a solid background in the life sciences. Working knowledge in allied fields such as ecology and environmental statistics is beneficial.

Working knowledge and experience highly desired of global regulatory risk assessment approaches, tools and guidelines (e.g. USEPA, EU REACh).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to enable effective collaboration in a global team environment. Ability to form strong partnership with multiple customers and functions, regionally and globally. Candidates must excel in an environment with a rapid pace and constantly shifting priorities.

Passion to grow personal capability and develop the organization. Ability to proactively identify skill/capability gaps and develop a learning plan to expand knowledge. Interest in sharing knowledge with others and seeking innovative ways to capture learning through system and work process improvements.
