The HR function operates as a multi-disciplinary team of experts driving efficiency and innovation.As a (Senior) HR Advisor (S/HRA) for TUI Airline, you will work closely with HR Business Partners across TUI Airline, providing employee and labour relations advice and HR support to help shape and implement functional people plans. You will be supporting the delivery of HR processes and act as the first point of contact for our employees and people managers in your area. We are integrity-led, we are curious, and we challenge appropriately to drive the business forward.In this role, you will report to the Head of HR – TUI Airline.About The JobAs a (Senior) HR Advisor, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Employee relations within TUI Airline for your respective market. You will provide professional HR advice to all employees, you will guide and coach line managers on all people management related activities, and provide them with advice and guidance on ER related caseloads, disciplinaries and grievances and performance related issues
  • Contributing to wider HR project work and support our HR team in achieving their strategic objectives, such as wellbeing and diversity commitments
  • Keeping up to date with current and forthcoming employment legislation, have awareness of topical HR matters, and have responsibility to help interpret and communicate it to the business
  • Thriving in an environment balancing key HR project activities such as policy development, business change, process simplification, designing and maintaining organisation metrics, maintaining records, and keeping our internal people data and HR systems up to date
  • Supporting HR Business Partners across the business with coordinating and organising the necessary administrative support on internal mobility and organisational change including contract changes, restructures, redundancy, and redeployment activity within functions as required
  • Collaborating across both the local and TUI Airline HR functions, and alongside other HR Advisors to knowledge-share, ensure consistency, advise, challenge, identify gaps and innovate so managers have the right tools to do their roles, and we develop and grow as a team and individuals.

About You
  • A thorough understanding of HR disciplines with previous HR experience in a multi-tasked environment
  • Broad up to date knowledge of local employment legislation and can apply this logically to the real world
  • Obsessed with good HR and employee relations practices, and comfortable in influencing others by building great relationships
  • Experience of leading projects, and can prioritise and plan your time effectively
  • Act with confidence and communicate well, both verbally and in writing
  • Passionate about your own learning and development
  • Great and meticulous attention to detail
  • Know when to ask for help, and you own your mistakes
  • Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced, constantly changing matrix environment
  • Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written, for all locations and positions
  • In addition, for positions in Belgium the role requires fluency in French and Dutch and for positions in The Netherlands the role requires fluency in Dutch
  • Experience of (or aptitude for) pan-European HR would be an advantage but is not essential
