What you can expect

As the the IT Operations manager, you are in charge of monitoring network infrastructure and addressing system issues. You must have prior IT performance management, network administration, and system security expertise. You ensure that data protection laws are followed and that you can manage various projects. Finally, you’ll make sure our IT systems are safe, reliable, and consistent.

Your responsibilities:
Maintain and improve corporate networks and servers on a local level.

Managing devices and passwords.

Observe data backup and system security procedures (e.g., user authorization, firewalls)

Manage hardware and software installs, updates, and settings.

Examine the system’s performance and make suggestions for improvements.

Resolve problems that have been escalated by technicians and engineers.

Ensure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to legal and company guidelines

Ensure that data is handled, transmitted, or processed in accordance with applicable laws and business policies.

Via help desk, provide support and direction to stakeholders.

Report Infrastructure and support KPIs.

Report Costs and budgets for IT systems.

Manage vendor contracts and software licensing (e.g., development platforms, communications providers, password managers).

Develop IT operational procedures and practices.

Your Profile

If you identify yourself in any of the following characteristics, we challenge you to apply immediately.

Proven experience as an IT Operations Manager or a leader of an IT team

Installation, setup, and analysis of systems are all skills you’ll need.

Detailed understanding of servers (Windows and Linux) and network administration

Good understanding of cloud computing, especially Azure and Office 365 (together with related technologies like Teams, SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerShell, and so on).

Working understanding of data protection procedures and laws (e.g., GDPR)

Leadership and management abilities

ITIL concepts are well-understood.

Managing numerous projects in an Agile manner is a must.

Exceptional communication abilities

Problem-solving aptitude

You are familiar with some of the following technologies:

• Windows, Linux, VMWare vCenter, SQL, SNMP, IP, Azure, Active Directory, Intune, Web APIs, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, PowerApps, shell

Fluent in English, and good basis in French or Dutch
