Your journey with us

• In the field of Manufacturing and Technical Operations, you advise our international clients on how to produce, what and where to produce – with the aim to transform their operations function into a competitive advantage
• You support our clients with
• Assessing the current performance of their manufacturing plants; and providing strategic and operational advise on how to bring that performance to the next level
• Supporting them in defining their manufacturing strategy; providing recommendation on manufacturing capacity expansion (make vs buy, country & location evaluation & selection)
• Design of a manufacturing facility of the future; definition of a smart factory
• Initiating the implementation of our recommendations together with the client
• … and much more
• Own project activities independently with a focus on qualitative and quantitative analyses, recommendation formulation, and stakeholder management
• Take active part in our Deloitte MSSO community, and act as a true team player within a project team context. Liaise with experts from other teams such as IoT, Tax, Global Trade … to bring a comprehensive recommendation to our clients & to further strengthen our MSSO offerings
• Actively contribute to business development activities (e.g. thinking through new project approaches, managing relationships with business partners, attending events) and to firm development (e.g. publication of articles & point of views)
• Coach junior colleagues that join Deloitte after university throughout their first steps into consulting
  
  

Let’s Talk About You

• You are passionate about manufacturing strategy, operations in a global context, Smart Factory and curious to embark on our clients’ challenges in this domain
• You have a Master’s degree in Engineering and between 2 and 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment or in consulting focusing on helping clients solve your clients´ most difficult challenges in the manufacturing space
• You are familiar with current state analyses, operational excellence, digital transformation in manufacturing, to-be concept development, and recommendation formulation, from a strategic as well as tactical design perspective, and are pragmatic to drive successful implementations forward
• You have outstanding analytical skills
• You are a team player with strong communication skills. In terms of languages, you are fluent in English and in Dutch or French with a good basic knowledge of the other national language.
• You are eager to work in an international environment, and willing to travel on an ad-hoc basis.
