Qualifications & Experience

Responsibilities

As Senior Financial Business Controller at Materialise‘s Headquarter:

• You will manage and control cost of all manufacturing, material and labor expenses in the Materialise Medical unit;
• You will be responsible for the unit reporting, provide business analyses, conduct performance management, help set prices and inventory valuation;
• You will challenge data to be able to identify & propose action plans (margin improvement, potential synergies, costs savings,….) and in order to obtain overall optimal efficiency and profitability;
• You will also coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process in the Materialise Medical unit.
• You will be part of the finance & unit management team

Requirements

• You possess a Master degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration or equal through experience;
• You have minimum 7 years of experience of which at least 2 years in a similar role;
• You have thorough experience with financial processes and practices such as total cost of ownership, target cost management, standard costing, management of productivity and capacity;
• You are passionate about production and its way of working;
• You are analytical, hands-on, initiative taking, result and impact driven;
• You have strong and persuading communication skills;
• You can work autonomously and in team;
• You have excellent knowledge of Excel and ERP systems;
• You are fluent in Dutch and English;
• IFRS and SOX knowledge is a plus
