About The Role

You will supervise / manage day to day vaccines operations in a bulk manufacturing facility.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Organize the “transversal” activities: Environmental monitoring, gas/fluids/product sampling, cleaning, training, SOP/WKI creation or update, slowdown/shutdown planification, orders of materials,
• Natural Leader, you motivate, encourage and engage the team to achieve maximum productivity,
• You have the authority to hire and terminate contracts. You are responsible for discipline and performance decisions,
• Apply the recommended processes and anticipate potential improvements of the current processes while assuring compliance with the Change Management procedures,
• Ensure compliance of the operations with GMP and Authorities requirements,
• Monitor quality of the production in close collaboration with QA and take corrective actions when necessary,
• You organize and monitor performance progress efficiency of the facility through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Quality, Budget, Delivery and Security,
• You coordinate specific projects of improvement to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity, security and simplification.
  

This job opportunity is a permanent contract, not opened for relocation.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Sciences, Bioengineering, Pharmacy, etc.
• Proven experience in a production environment in the manufacturing or pharma-biotech sector
• Advanced knowledge in biopharmaceutical processes and technologies
• Good knowledge of GMP for biological products
• High level of flexibility, sense of priorities, communication and good organizational skills, agile to changes
• Able to work under pressure
• You are fluent in French both written and spoken, with a good technical command of English
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Bioengineering, Pharmacy, Sciences,
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Vaccine production or specific production unit,
• Knowledge of, experience in, or exposure to Shingrix process,
• High Quality mindset,
• Knowledge of culture, purification and environmental monitoring processes is an asset.
